I give up. Only one of my five children is in a permanent, until death, committed to life together, marriage or relationship. After a child reaches adulthood, it is the natural and God designed course to find a mate to take as a partner for the remainder of their lives. To love and care for one another the way a mother has, until their needs changed, because the mother will eventually pass, and she needs to know they are loved in that same unconditional and forever way. It seems like a bad dream, a practical joke or a movie made for entertainment, that the wholeness was divided for this earthly life. That each soul, once whole, is split into the male and female, and mortal. And because of that mortality, new people must be made constantly. How can this be real!? Why does it feel so tragic and foreign to my soul?! Please, GOD, wake me from this nightmare that torments humankind! Make us ONE, as it was in the beginning! With YOU! All life as one, like cells in one body, that is YOU, infinite and eternal. Not as individuals, "He's here", She's over there!", "A child is born!" "A mother is gone", "A grandparent is dead." How can any soul forget this isn't real.
