My mother, Beatrice Marie, visited a shrine today in Cuba. She is on a vacation for her 80th birthday. She is a very staunch atheist. This was a tourist visit to the sanctuary of the Virgin of El Cobre. My mother left me when I was 3, but went on to have other children. I am cordial with 3 of them, but my mother has not been willing to see or speak to me in over 3 decades. My father is deceased now. Please, Mary...my true Mother from before I was even conceived, who never left me, who has loved me as Her own, touch my biological mother's heart and show her Yours. Show her Your Son, Jesus, and the Love of Our Father. I love her so much and have never once been angry with her for abandoning me. If it be in the Lord's will, maybe pray that she will someday talk to me or let me see her. I will probably never know the truth of why she left me, and I don't care.
