For my husband, Jim, who is in a dark place because of being unemployed since May. He believes he’s not capable of being employed because he’s 59 and can’t keep up with the younger men. He’s very down on himself, and is selling all the things that bring him joy because he doesn’t think he deserves them anymore and because we are out of resources. I work but cannot cover all our expenses. His faith and trust are failing. I need my faith and strength and hope strengthened also, I don’t know what to do, all I can do is ask Jesus for mercy in our relationship and finances and employment.
