Please pray that I can understand what I should and shouldn't say. There's truth that I've been holding that will serve no purpose but to relieve myself of the burden of holding these things inside. It will only hurt individuals and I never know how far reaching and interconnected these things might be. But it eats away at me constantly to the point I feel sick and anxious and in every way my soul is disturbed and I have no peace. I used to wonder when I was a child and I still think about it often how the priests sit in the confessional and listen to all sorts of things people confess to. Maybe some very heinous acts, some of their inner turmoils, some criminal events they've been involved in, or personal issues like temptation, or giving into things they could tell no one else. The priests must hear it as part of their vocation. How can they go on about their daily lives knowing so many things about people. I know a lot of things and I have to hold a lot in, but I'm not a priest. I'm just a pathetic, weak human being that should never have to hold these things to keep my family together and life together for those that I love and even strangers. Nothing dangerous, nothing that could harm another, just things I feel like I shouldn't know, but I do. These things are bursting inside of me, but I know I can't speak them. What do I do? Telling a certain truth could destroy more than it could help in so many of these situations. Just to get something off my chest that will ruin things for someone else that I care about.
