Please pray that we can get through this day with my husband. He has been on hospice but pretty cognizant for a while now. But today he has repeated he's hungry at least 30 times but he won't eat he says help me I need help I need help I need some help. When I asked him what he needs he said he doesn't know he just needs help. He says he needs help to get in bed and I try with all I've got broken hand and all and I get him laying down but he gets right back up start saying the same thing and I don't know what to do. I'm by myself right now at the bad hand injury and the nurses are coming in a little while. I can't even clean up the house. We are doing home hospice and he just keeps moaning and groaning and saying how bad he feels and none of the medicine that we normally give him is helping him at all. I don't know what to do and I don't think I can take it. Please give me strength and please help him feel better. He woke me up every 30 minutes to say help me I need some help but nothing specific just eyes glazed over. Our car completely went out and stopped working about 3 days ago. I was alone and the temperature was over 100°. I was stuck about 30 minutes from home and I haven't yet recovered from it. I'm almost 70 years old and had done all the driving for the last 40 years just fine still going strong. I took everybody wherever they needed to go and that was a huge part of my life. I don't know what I'm supposed to do about having a car because now I can't get to a store or a doctor appointment or anything at all like that.
