Please pray for my husband George and myself get our case reviewed quickly so we will get our full social security benefit restored. There's a state program that pays the Medicare premium, which is $179 a month taken out of our checks. It lapsed and the state office just told me it might be 2025 before the issue is fixed. We are having to beg from food pantries to survive the end of each month. It's my fault that I missed the date to turn in renewal forms. George has lung cancer, severe COPD, severe diabetes that he's never had before recently and we can't manage it well. He's been in and out of the hospital so many times, and now on top of that, he has developed dementia. It's been a lot for me to handle and even though I'm still in fairly good health, it's taken a huge toll on my mental and physical well-being. We will be married 52 years next week. Please pray for us. Please pray for the State of Texas government office that manage these programs to get it together. It's ridiculous. We qualify for $46 in food stamps which is better than nothing.
