Please pray for Matt to find peace, happiness, motivation to live, and mental stability. Please pray he doesn't ingest substances that cause him problems. It affects him, and everyone in our family so much anguish, especially his son. Please pray for him to see how much I love him and for him to love and respect me the way a son should. Things have been terrible since I broke down angry and unable to silently take his verbal abuse and psychotic behavior several times in the last month. It started before Christmas when he got his car towed away from not having a license. He can't get a license right now because he's behind on child support. He can't pay child support because he needs a car to go to a job, and he is so easily defeated by things that most can take in stride. He has fines to pay and other needs, but I'm just so grateful he's been willing to have a relationship with his son and that he hasn't attempted suicide in the last 6 months since he got out of jail for unpaid warrants on traffic violations. He spent a month there, and got clean from stimulants, got time to think, etc. Then one thing after another he quit his job, gave up and depression took him into hopelessness again. He is so mad at me for not taking his abusive comments silently like I have been because I know how fast he can go into a downward spiral if he thinks anyone of us is being critical of his behavior. Please pray for him and for all of our family. Especially my mother and son relationship and the relationship between his son. The nightmare roller coaster disaster he has put his son through in the last month. Please, pray for us.
