Damien is the son of a Catholic Mom writer. He has been treated with chemo for a brain tumor for several months. At Damien's ophthalmology appointment this morning it was discovered he's lost a great deal of vision since the end of September. He's having an emergency MRI this afternoon to determine what's going on. His chemo will be on hold until they know what's going on and why.
