Please pray for Matt to get through these holidays. It was a little over a year ago when their little family became broken apart. In a mental health crisis he put his ex wife and 8 year old son out. He's been doing much better with his mental health and is living here rent free while he continues recovery. On good terms with Marie and their son, Matthew Jr. even though his heart is so bruised and bleeding for her. She has a new man with whom she's 5½ months pregnant and living in his family's home. Matt is struggling these days and hasn't worked for a month or more. No motivation he says. He asked that his son not visit last weekend and wouldn't say why. I think it's because he has absolutely no money for a Christmas gift and feels like a failure at life. He hasn't paid his fines that are past due, which could cause him a lot of legal trouble. Please pray he will find some work and be able to pull out of his depression. It can be deadly for him. He has attempted suicide in the past. Please, pray the Lord guide him in the right direction.
