Dear Heavenly Father
I wanted to thank everyone for the prayers and I ask for continued prayers for my boyfriend John Kemp fighting Stage 4 Stomach Cancer since January. Father, please forgive all my sins. Father, please lay your healing hands on John and rid of all the cancer cells and restore John back to health so he can serve you. Father, I am praying for a miracle to have more time with my best friend and the love of my life. Father, thank you today John and I had a 2 hour conversation. John opened up with his troubles with his PTSD from his military/govt work the last 25+ years. He mentioned it will probably haunt him for the rest of his life. This was a break through for our relationship. It hasn't been easy but I stuck by him and continue to. I let him know that I do not think he is a burden at all that I love him dearly. He also mentioned that maybe all this cancer stuff was to make him realize he needs to slow things down from work to financially supporting his brother and recently late mother to our relationship. Father, please continue to guide and comfort John during his constant mental anguish he suffers on top of fighting for his life with the cancer. He still is focus on his brother and everyone else where I said right now it's only you you should focus on as I am by your side. I told him what my Dr recently told me (when I said no to living with my senior father who is recently widowed) that it was a good decision since I should focus on my health bc if I don't and get sick I can't be there for anyone. Father, thank you for being a constant provider and love in our lives. We can not do this without you. Father, please shine a light for John and show him how much self love is also important. He mentioned in his recent therapy that they said he was codependent on me. He said he doesn't have anyone but my love and of he doesn't have me he doesn't have anything. Father, 6 years ago when I was in ICU for a month suffered 2 strokes...you gave me life again to be a support and love for John. He is so much more than he thinks. I pray he finds that while I am by his side to love him. In Jesus'name. Amen.
