Dear Heavenly Father first thank you everyone for the prayers for my boyfriend John Kemp who is fighting Stage 4 Stomach Cancer. I am also asking for continued prayers for him. John has been distant from stomach pains and follow up appointments to his physical therapy appointments for his broken foot. He's been distant today...he opened up a little. He mentioned he is on anxiety and depression medication to help him. Father, I know despite having support from his friend he's staying with in person and support from me from afar he's overwhelmed. I also should mention with his military/govt job suffers from PTSD from his time in Afghanistan. The poor guy. I know he's strong and putting up a big fight. I keep reminding him I know I'm far but still with him and not going anywhere. Until I am able to see him especially now with Covid and the Delta variant being very contagious and he already had Covid with being vaccinated. We actually are both vaccinated but he had his reasons of me waiting for to come out while he's staying with his friend now that Covid cases are going back up it's safer to stay here. It's certainly frustrating but I do not forget daily to check in on him all day long even if I don't get a response. He mentioned with the new medication he's feeling numb. Which explains why he's been distant. Father, please guide and. Comfort John as he feeling overwhelmed with so much going on with his cancer and PTSD. Father, please lay your healing hands on John rid of all the cancer cells and restore his health so he can serve you. Father, please forgive me for all my sins. John and I can't do this without your undying love and support. I'm praying for a miracle so I can have more time with my best friend. We haven't had quality together from his work and me getting sick last 5-6 years (I also have a lot of health issues) now we come across this challenge that we can't do without you. I humbly pray before you. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
