Please pray for my grandson. He has severe tics and now maybe Tourettes. He's been saying "Is it tomorrow?" "I hate ice!!" "I love my Mom!!", " and about five other things over and over and over. He can't stop. He also has his throat clearing tic every 3 seconds exactly FOR SEVERAL DAYS now. Hallucinations, confusion, EXTREME anxiety, intrusive and repetitive thoughts (the same ones) hundreds of times a day. It seems centered on his obsession with ice, mom, hours, minutes, days of the week, night, day, seasons, yesterday, later, tomorrow. Time in general. He stares like a zombie, while obsessing about those things. We are going to see a neurologist soon. They pediatrician says it's probably a 'mental tic', and the throat clearing is a 'vocal tic'. AND there's NO treatment. It'll just wax and wane forever. I think I'm losing my mind. The new mental tic is supposedly a thought that repeats in a continuous loop and is sometimes blurted out. His are always in a question form. The anxiety/terror in his eyes is heartbreaking. He can't stop and I think he's scared of that too. He's only 6 and the are thinking it may be schizophrenia starting with the repeating intrusive thoughts.
