I just got this text from my sister Mary Ann
Will you ask all of your priest friends to pray for Sam (Samantha is my niece Christie's wife they have a boy each 5 and 3 Oliver Joseph and Maxwell Bernard) wife today. They are scheduling surgery to remove a 6 inch mass from her neck to her chest and she has a blood clot and superior vena cava syndrome. They think the mass is cancerous. Her life is in danger and she needs a lot of prayers. I am seeing patients on the computer all day so call Derek's phone if you want to talk to Mom or get an update. Ask Aunt Mary to pray too Anyone who will pray please pray
Also My Aunt Katie who just had bypass surgery in her legs and is in daily terrible intermittent pain
And Lihn's son in law who is in surgery now for urinary difficulty
And for my Mom married 61 years to Dad and for me Bernie Jr and. My siblings
You see Dad, Bernie Sr, went home to Christ March 5th in the early Morning
At five minutes to four in the morning, I saw Father Patick Peyton in an old scratchy film saying with intense eyes a firm FAITH, a solid HOPE and a LOVE that conquers deaths is CHRIST JESUS Our LORD and you can have HIS LOVE if you pray and your family will too if you pray together especially The Rosary The LOVE that CONQUORS death. At that very moment, my Mom came down the stairs hugged me and told me Dad is in HEAVEN. Dad had been dying slowly but helped and cared for by each of us at home for the last four months. I had entrusted Mom to Father Patrick Peyton daily in my Rosary for the last three years and Dad to Brother Loftus a Holy Cross Brother who was at Stonehill in the 50s who Dad knew. Thank You Jesus Mary Joseph Brother Loftus and Father Peyton now I have peace beyond understanding
