My daughter’s husband left her and their 5 young children when she was at stay-at-home mother. My 83-year-old father took them in. The boys are only 9, 7, and 5. Their behavior at school is almost always good, but quite unruly at home and my father is not physically able to keep them in check and my daughter has not figured out how to effectively discipline them. I am also hoping my granddaughters won’t end up seeking or settling for the wrong kind of male attention in a few years during their teens and early twenties.
